University Museum and Art Gallery Hong Kong



The University Museum and Art Gallery stands beside the University of Hong Kong on the Bonham Road. In 1932, a Chinese books library was set by Mr. Fung Ping Shan and in1953, the museum was established. The museum is in the Fung Ping Shan Building and on the lower three floors of T T Tsui Building.



The museum is home to more than thousand antique Chinese paintings, bronze works, and ceramic works ranging from Neolithic period to Qing dynasty. You can also see the numerous carvings in wood, stone and jade here. It displays historical significance of Hong Kong to the world.
