Where is Hong Kong Located
Hong Kong is situated in both the northern and eastern hemispheres. It is located in Asia, along the southeast coast of the mainland China and it is enclosed by Mirs Bay, the country of China, Deep Bay and the South China Sea. The landscape of the Hong Kong mainly includes three major territories such as Kowloon Peninsula, the New Territories and Hong Kong Island.
The name Hong Kong is derived from the region around the Aberdeen on Hong Kong Island, which means fragrant harbor. In this region most of the fragrant incense and fragrant wood products were traded. The narrow body of water separating Kowloon Peninsula and Hong Kong Island, Victoria Harbour, is one of the deepest natural landform harbor in the world.
